20x24, Acrylic on Canvas
This is a custom painting I did for my friend. Although it may not look like an LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device), it is my artistic representation of one. I chose the name "Man of Steel" because we have a small history with Superman. I gave him a Superman shirt one year for his birthday, calling him the Man of Steel due to his pacemaker/defibrillator. Back when I was clean cut, I also dressed up as Superman for his son's birthday (which was priceless). Aside from the Saints logo and red bandana, there is a hidden "S" in the painting.
