Suicidal Tendencies
30x40, Acrylic on Canvas There was a part of me that felt lost when I got out of the Marine Corps. It felt like once I took off the uniform, I was done changing the world. It wasn?t until I started my art journey that I not only learned more about myself but I realized I can still create a positive impact in the world. It?s important to remember who you are and to always look to the future. Always adapt and overcome. When you let depression get the best of you, you become part of the bedsheets. Keep fighting. Ask yourself how you recharge your batteries. Is it talking to people? Is it finding alone time? Petting horses? Creating art? Find out what it is and do lots of it. Cut your burdens in half. We are in an interesting time in our country. Lots of changes are coming which are exciting. We must come together as one and ignore those who want us divided.
